The Hotel
All of the Terrace Hotel bedrooms have ensuite shower, toilet and washbasin. All rooms have colour T.V. and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms also have central heating and individual guest controlled heaters. Guests are welcome to make use of our spacious lounge and WIFI is available
throughout the building. Our rooms are mostly spacious and all enjoy the original features of Georgian architecture â high ceilings with cornices and most even have the original fireplaces. We now have our new FREE picnic breakfast. Up to 10 items per person delivered to your room early every morning.. Breakfast menu supplied at confirmation of booking.
Our hard working staff are available 24 hours a day to offer advice and assistance and will be happy to help you during your stay.
The Location
The Terrace Hotel is set in a peaceful and attractive part of the city, away from the hustle and bustle yet still within easy reach of all the main attractions and shopping centres. The Terrace Hotel is at the quieter end of Royal Terrace â a cobbled tree lined street with paid online
street parking (currently free at weekends) with plenty of spaces normally available. Princes Street and Waverley Station are just a ten minute walk away from the Hotel. We are also very handy for the Playhouse Theatre (just around the corner) and a range of eateries are only a 5 minute walk away to the Omni Centre, which is also home to a 12-screen Vue Cinema. Situated across from the top of Leith Walk we are ideally positioned for visiting the Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre or the Royal Botanical Garden. Also within walking distance are attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, the National Museum of Scotland, Holyrood Palace and the Underground Vaults.
